Get Ready

Before you can use Wireless PittNet, you will need:

• a University Computer Account
• to understand the guidelines and responsibilities for using Wireless PittNet
• a PC running Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 with wireless capability (built-in or adapter*), or a Mac running OS X 10.3 or higher with Apple Airport Extreme

All students, faculty, and staff are also strongly urged to install Symantec AntiVirus on their computers.
